The Lens Behind the Vision

Hi, I’m Peeravas Kongsansatien, though you might know me online as Joe Kongsan. I am a professional photographer and content creator based in Bangkok, Thailand, specializing in portrait, fashion, and editorial photography.

My journey with the visual arts began at KMITL (King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang), where I graduated in 2001 (B.E. 2544) from the Department of Communication Arts and Design, majoring in Photography at the Faculty of Architecture.

While photography was my first formal training, my career took a fascinating 20-year detour into the world of Graphic Design. During those two decades—working both as a dedicated designer and as a creative business owner—I developed a sharp eye for composition, branding, and visual storytelling. These years in design taught me how to see "the big picture" and understand exactly how an image needs to function within a layout or a brand identity.

The Return to the Craft

After 20 years in the design industry, my passion for the camera was reignited. I began creating content focused on gadgets and photography gear, which led me back to the pure joy of being behind the lens. Today, I combine my technical background in photography with my extensive experience in design to create images that are not just pictures, but curated visual experiences.

Whether it’s a high-concept fashion editorial, a soulful portrait session, or lifestyle content for brands, I bring a unique perspective that blends "Old School" foundational skills with a modern, tech-forward aesthetic.
